chicago botanical garden
Chicago has lots of beautiful attractions in the city. Parks and beautiful beaches are the main attractions in Chicago. Chicago botanical garden is also a such place in Chicago. It has amazing beauty to see. To get to the 'roots' of the Chicago Botanical Garden, you have to go back to the inception of the Chicago Horticultural Society back in 1890. The society sought out to promote the idea of "a city in a garden." After a fledging beginning, the society eventually took ground and was granted 300 acres of land in 1963. Eventually in 1972, the garden was finally open to the public where today it boasts 23 display gardens and three native habitats over 385 acres. Take a walk over the nine islands surrounded by lakes and lagoons with rolling hills and lush vegetation of one of the country's most visited public gardens. The Chicago Botanic Garden rivals some of the older European gardens of Britain and France, and is a must for garden lovers, or those who generally love nature. Spend the day wandering around the grounds and be sure to pack a picnic or eat at the restaurant or cafe located onsite. If you are coming to Chicago for visiting the city and wants to stay in the city then stay in cheap hotels in Chicago. They provide lots of services at cheap rates and they also provide a great discount to the customers.

Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park
Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park-Spread out over 20 acres, the Santa Ana Zoo is a great place to explore a variety of different animals and ecosystems. Visitors to the zoo will find a rain forest, an aviary, and many other exhibits that will both educate and entertain. The zoo was founded in 1952 by a local citrus farmer named Joseph Prentice. He agreed to donate the land to the city, but had two conditions: that the attraction be named after him, and that there always be at least 50 monkeys on exhibit at the zoo at all times. Today, the zoo has honored his requests, and yes, it always keeps at least 50 monkeys within on the premises at all times, including such species as the Black Howler Monkey, the Silver Langur, the Golden Lion Tamarin, and others. The zoo is home to over 249 animals, so you'll definitely get a chance to see a wide variety of creatures here. In addition to showcasing animals and aiding in conservation efforts, the Santa Ana Zoo also puts on great events throughout the year, including a Zoo birthday party, safaris, Sunset at the Zoo concerts, and others. For lodging in Anaheim select hotels in Anaheim California.

Charles River Esplanade
Charles River Esplanade-Also referred to simply as "The Esplanade," the Charles River Esplanade is a city park that stretches along the waterfront on the Charles River. The Esplanade is also the best access point for boating on the river where often times you'll see rowboats or sailboats depending on the weather and time of year. The Esplanade backs up adjacent to the Back Bay neighborhood, and also provides a lot of open space for walkers and joggers, as well as other people out to enjoy the spoils of the riverfront. The park was developed in 1927, and in 1929 the famed Boston Pops arrived on the riverfront, where they would perform a concert series in the open at least once a year. A more permanent band-shell was built in 1939 and subsequently called the Hatch Memorial Shell. Today the Boston Pops as well as various performers continue to use the park. For lodging select downtown boston hotels.
